Course Full Description: This course is a survey of the world's major religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as well as historically and recently important religious movements. In addition to learning the basic tenets, timelines and important persons within each faith, we’ll be looking at topics across religions traditions such as art and music, prayer, clothing, the role of women, and the identity of belief communities in modern culture.
Prerequisites: This course is reserved for students enrolled in the Finish@UT or UTEP BMS programs.
