Course Full Description: The history and practice of rhetoric; current theories of writing from the perspectives of cognitive psychology, linguistics, sociology, and others. This course is especially relevant for students seeking secondary certification in English or for students who plan to pursue an advanced degree in English.
Prerequisites: ENGL 1302 Composition II (or equivalent) and at least one 3000 level English course, or permission of the instructor.
