Course Title: Special Topics in Religious Studies: Introduction to Bahá’i (Finish@UT)
Course Full Description: This course will show how this religion arose and developed to its present form; it’s position in the Middle East; the sacred writings of the faith; and the laws, teachings and principles of the faith. A comparative analysis of the prophets from other major religions will be presented to introduce the Bahá’i belief of progressive revelations by God throughout history. This course is also an appropriate study of those interested in how a new religion is created. May be repeated for credit when topic varies.
Prerequisites: This course is reserved for students enrolled in the Finish@UT or UTEP BMS programs.
