Course Full Description: The development of English from its beginnings to Modern English. A study of the changes in the phonological, morphological, and syntactic systems.
Prerequisites: This course is reserved for students enrolled in the Finish@UT or UTEP BMS program. ENGL 2311 English Literature to the Late 1700s and ENGL 2312 English Literature Late 1700s to the Present or their equivalents; or Introduction to Linguistics or its equivalent.
